Our college held a career planning and resume revision activity themed "Youth Navigation, Career Initiation Blueprint" for the 2023 undergraduate graduating class.
To further help graduates of our college understand the employment situation, make sound career plans and enhance job competitiveness. On February 24, the 2023 undergraduate graduating class of our college organized the "Youth Navigation, Career Initiation Blueprint" career planning and resume revision activity. Some 2023 undergraduate graduates participated in this activity. The activity was hosted by Yang Jack, captain of the 2019 Employment Escort Team, majoring in Finance (Quantitative Finance Experimental Class).
First, Yang Jack introduced the importance of career planning, enabling students to understand the characteristics of different career fields and helping them formulate personalized career plans based on their personality traits, interests, personal abilities and other factors. Then, Zhai Yuhang from the Class of 2019, Finance (Quantitative Finance Experimental Class), introduced resume writing skills and precautions in detail. With his humorous expression, he provided practical suggestions for the students.
In the interactive session, students revised and submitted their resumes according to the training suggestions, and members of the Employment Escort Team provided one-on-one and one-to-many guidance on resume revision on site. During this period, members of the Employment Escort Team introduced to the students detailed information on the employment situation, salary levels, career development prospects and other aspects of different career fields, and provided targeted guidance according to students' personal conditions, pointing out the direction of job hunting for the students and encouraging them to achieve better accomplishments in their future careers.
After the activity, the students all said that they benefited a lot. They not only learned skills in career planning and resume writing, but also received various job hunting suggestions and experiences. This activity not only improved the students' job competitiveness, but also pointed out the direction for their future career development.
