Department of Organization and Management Holds Lecture on AI Application Knowledge & Professional Guidance Series Activities


From April 20 to 27, 2025, the Department of Organization and Management successively held three lectures on the application of organizational artificial intelligence for undergraduate students of the 2024 Grade Business Administration Program. Introductions and exchanges were also conducted on the attributes, disciplinary content, curriculum system, employment trends of the human resource management major, as well as the application prospects of artificial intelligence.

In the three sessions, Mr. Yan Liang, Head of the Department of Organization and Management, first delivered a lecture themed "Organizational Strategy and Management in the AI Era". Focusing on the basic application architecture of artificial intelligence within the knowledge system of organizational management and organizational behavior, human-machine collaboration technologies and application scenarios, and the application prospects of AI in human resource management, he introduced the latest AI application cases and up-to-date organizational management practices. This provided students with information resources and case materials for rethinking organizations and understanding the role of management majors in the market and society in the AI era, and offered suggestions and references for them to deeply consider how to improve their professional literacy and competitiveness in the AI era.

In the professional guidance session, Mr. Yan Liang systematically elaborated on the market positioning, disciplinary characteristics, curriculum and knowledge map, as well as employment prospects and market trends of the human resource management major around the themes of "Who is HR", "What competencies are required for HR" and "What can HR major studies bring to you", introducing the connotation and training features of the major. Mr. Zhang Qian from the Department of Organization and Management explained the core competitiveness and future potential of the major from the perspectives of its disciplinary attributes and national, regional and industry rankings. Finally, the teachers present answered students’ inquiries one by one, urged them to earnestly study each course and formulate sound plans for knowledge learning and quality development, and encouraged them to maintain an attitude of active exploration, enterprise, seeking truth and being pragmatic no matter which major they choose, so as to lay a solid foundation for the in-depth professional study in the next three years and build sustainable professional competitiveness in the future.
