The first phase of the "Career Awaits You" Professional Empowerment Program was successfully launched

To improve the job-hunting competitiveness of our university students, help them clarify career directions, solve difficulties and confusions in job seeking and employment, and master practical skills, the first session of the "Career Awaits You" Professional Empowerment Program, organized by the "Sailing" Career Planning Studio of our college in conjunction with the Admissions and Employment Office, was successfully held at "Red Candle Home" on Chang'an Campus on the morning of December 11. Students from different colleges and grades gathered together to participate in this rewarding session on career planning and job-hunting guidance.

This event specially invited Luo Yili, a senior human resources expert in the industry, to serve as the keynote teacher. Currently, Luo Yili works as the Training Supervisor of the Human Resources Department at Shaanxi Lighte Optoelectronic Material Co., Ltd. and an IPTC International Professional Training Lecturer. She previously served as the Training Supervisor for professional skills positions at a Fortune Global 500 enterprise and a career guidance teacher at a university. With 10 years of intensive experience in the training field, she has helped students with career planning and development, delivered more than 300 lectures, led many large-scale training programs, and possesses rich practical and guidance experience.

At the event, Teacher Luo Yili shared her insights based on her extensive professional experience. Focusing on the current employment situation and the core needs of enterprise recruitment, she systematically explained key contents including career planning, job-hunting mindset adjustment, and interview communication skills. She used vivid cases to analyze common misunderstandings in the job-hunting process, and explained in a simple way the skills and methods of accurately matching job requirements and highlighting one’s own core strengths.

In the "Resume Clinic" and mock interview sessions, in view of the mock applicants’ personal resumes, self-statements and interview questions and answers, Teacher Luo provided one-on-one detailed comments and guidance from the perspective of recruiters. From resume structure optimization and quantitative presentation of experience to job adaptability adjustment, Teacher Luo customized resume optimization plans for each mock applicant, accurately pointed out problems in the resumes and put forward specific improvement suggestions.

During the interactive session, the students asked questions enthusiastically and consulted Teacher Luo about their confusions regarding resume writing, career choice, industry development and so on. Teacher Luo offered practical suggestions based on her own experience. The learning atmosphere was strong, and the students took notes carefully and interacted actively. They not only solved their confusions in career planning, job hunting and employment, but also enhanced their job-hunting confidence, achieving remarkable results.

The successful holding of this "Career Awaits You" Professional Empowerment Program is an important measure to focus on the employment needs of college students and strengthen employment guidance services. It is also a vivid practice of the "one-stop" student community of our university giving play to its comprehensive education function. The activity effectively made up for the students’ shortcomings in job hunting, helped them clarify job-hunting ideas and master core skills. In the future, our college will continue to focus on students’ employment and development, carry out various professional empowerment and employment guidance activities on a regular basis, and help students achieve high-quality employment.
